Inside the Labyrinth
Sonoran Desert. Border zone between Mexico and the United States. At the heart of this region, bisected by the border, lies the indigenous territory of the Tohono O’odham people. Guided by Mike, an O’odham Indian and former soldier who served in El Salvador, we explore this desert region, nicknamed the "corridor of death" for migrants. Designed in the shape of a labyrinth, a symbol of the Tohono O’odham people, this film is a journey of discovery into the lives of a man, a territory, a people, a culture, and all the forms of discrimination they face.
