The Endless Caravan

2004
Every summer, 1.2 million Moroccan immigrants living and working in Europe set off by car for Morocco. Among them are Ouassima Abazik and Hassan Douzerda, second-generation Moroccans who were born and raised in Belgium. 70% of these travellers are under 35, and many of them are grappling with questions of identity. Thanks to a system of small cameras installed in the two families’ cars, we follow the journey of these two young people and their reflections on their Belgian and Moroccan identities. The Endless Caravan is the travel diary of Ouassima and Hassan’s journey.
