Alexandre Krivonos

Russian filmmaker:

Alexander Krivonos began his career in Russian television in the early 1970s. Between 1972 and 1995, he worked there as a producer and director, quickly specializing in cultural and artistic programs. He also shared his expertise as a teacher, notably within artistic exchange programs between France and Russia, such as the Les Saisons Parisiennes festival in Saint Petersburg.

His cinematic work focuses on art history, the avant-garde, and architecture, often through the lens of Russian historical memory. His films frequently utilize archival footage to document the evolution of aesthetic and political movements.
