Géraldine Py & Roberto Verde

Filmmaking Duo (French-Italian)
Géraldine Py (born in 1982 in Montbéliard, France) and Roberto Verde (born in 1981 in Milan, Italy) are a visual artist and filmmaker duo based in Brussels since 2006.
Their artistic approach revolves around the observation of physical, biological, or mechanical phenomena, which they stage in absurd or poetic ways. Using humble materials or everyday objects (soap, salt, pigeons, engines), they create installations where the unpredictable and controlled chaos play a central role. Their films are often extensions of their installations, capturing micro-events with almost scientific precision tinged with dark humor.
Their work is regularly exhibited in international art centers such as BPS22 in Charleroi, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and the Casino Luxembourg.
