Belgian filmmaker

Jackie Attala is a director and cinematographer based in Brussels. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to creative documentary filmmaking, where she often explores themes related to otherness, disability, and childhood.

Trained at INSAS (Brussels), she has developed a sensitive visual style that prioritizes observation and immersion. Like many filmmakers of her generation trained at prestigious Belgian film schools, she creates unique projects that question our senses and our relationship to the world.

She lives and works in Brussels, where she continues to contribute to the richness of independent Belgian documentary cinema.
