"N" the Madness of reason
An elderly white man (Raymond Borremans) dies in an abandoned hospital in Africa. He detaches himself from the visible world and enters the world of the invisible. For the first time, he observes the world as a spirit, viewing people and events from a distance. He wanders through Africa, recalling fragments of his life. His memory takes us to people and places he once knew, and inevitably he sees that the world has changed. He is deeply disappointed by what he sees, for the world he knew has vanished entirely. Chaos, misery, decay and war reign supreme. What has happened since his death, fifty years after independence?
