Trees
"Trees" is a story about trees and trees in general. It begins with their origins and then journeys through the world of trees and the trees of the world. The film explores the major differences and minor similarities between trees and humans, with the central idea that trees are to the plant kingdom what humans are to the animal kingdom. "Trees" is a journey on a different scale of space and time, where we encounter trees that communicate, trees that walk, shy trees, and even wild trees. "Trees" challenges some preconceived notions, starting from the observation that we always see the animal running on the branch but never the tree on which it moves.
