Marc-Antoine Roudil & Sophie Bruneau

Franco-Belgian filmmaking duo
Sophie Bruneau (Belgian anthropologist) and Marc-Antoine Roudil (French photographer) have collaborated since the early 1990s. Together, they have developed a method of patient observation, rejecting voice-over narration to allow places, gestures, and the words of their subjects to reveal the power structures and transformations of our society.
Their work lies at the intersection of social inquiry and visual poetry. They particularly explore themes related to the world of work, justice, and humanity's relationship with nature.
