The diagonal force

In 'The Diagonal Force,' we encounter men and women who bear witness to a moment of rupture in their lives, their attempts to live with it, and sometimes the possibility of transformation. Initially, the film subtly weaves connections between their successive narratives and reveals the traces of external conflicts on their individual existence. Then, another chapter opens, devoted to Hannah Arendt, who places at the heart of her political thought the human capacity to begin, to introduce something new into the world we share with others. The film seeks to make tangible this dimension of humanity, ever threatened yet irreducible.
