Hanna

In the heart of the Lozère Mountains, known as the ‘desert in the middle’, men and women live in close harmony with the deer. They are known as the ‘loners’. They have chosen to live apart from the rest of the world. Each of them stays in these places, most often to come to terms with a painful event in their life, to rediscover a lost part of themselves. Among them is Hanna, our protagonist, who feels that she is a man, even though her femininity denies her this. In the diary she has been writing since her teenage years, she expresses herself in the masculine form to describe what she experiences in her duality.
