The small end of the world

1998
A visit to the land of a utopia from the last century, "The Little End of the World" lets us experience the industrial but delicate rhythm of Salin de Giraud, Camargue, a chemical production center and living space founded by Ernest Solvay in 1896. In this portrait of a factory town, and its inhabitants-employees, where the architecture was established according to the social hierarchy, through their stories, their gestures, the film evokes the grand project of the past, but also the current impact of the vision of the Belgian industrialist.
