The storms
2014
A blizzard is a snowstorm that disorients and leads one astray. It is also the name given to a melancholy brought on by the harshness and length of winters. Where the blizzard rages, men have erected bell towers to call back those who have gone astray. And shepherds, as they moved their flocks from pasture to pasture, used their herds to summon lost or forgotten souls. Guided by the bells of a flock and by the evocations of the lost, this film is a journey through storms; those of the mountains and winter, of bodies and souls, those that reveal to us that what nature cannot obtain from our reason, it obtains from our madness.
