Palimpseste of Africa museum
After more than 100 years, the world's largest colonial museum, a symbol of arrogance towards the non-Western, is undergoing a transformation: a colonial framework, bolstered by scientific expertise, is attempting to reshape its image in the eyes of the world. The institution is convening experts from its various departments and has agreed to consult with delegates from African associations within the structure created for this purpose: COMRAF. COMRAF is participating in the assessment and attempting to immunize the museum for a new century of history. But what is hindering a complete decolonization of the museum?
