"I was born in Japan during the post-war pacifism era and for a long time I believed that the war was over. Through this chemical weapons accident, which occurred in Qiqihar in the former Manchuria in 2003, I realized that the ghosts of Japanese aggression were indeed present under the soil of China even today."
