Documentary

When we think of the war in Bosnia, we mainly remember the names of towns: Sarajevo, Mostar, Bihac, Tuzla, Gorazde… and one massacre: Srebrenica. But we don’t remember Visegrad. Because the Western media never mentioned Visegrad. As if nothing had ever happened there. As if Visegrad had never existed. Yet Visegrad does exist. It is a town in eastern Bosnia, with a bridge. A symbolic and majestic bridge. A bridge made famous by Ivo Andrić’s novel. A bridge like an emblem, like a pillory, like a mausoleum... Like a testimony.
