Cycle of trifles
_002_edited.png)
1998
Artist Ana Torfs based her first and only feature film on Beethoven's conversation notebooks, which his visitors used for written interviews with the composer who had become deaf. Through these seemingly insignificant notes, which hold the secret of essential emotions, the film reveals the story of an invisible hero, whose rhythm is defined by his music.
