Dutch filmmaker

Jean Counet is a filmmaker, cinematographer (member of the NSC - Netherlands Society of Cinematographers), and photographer born in 1979. Trained at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, he has developed a cinematic practice that prioritizes visual storytelling and the exploration of inner worlds. His career has been marked by extensive nternational mobility, his travels regularly enriching his documentary and experimental work. He continues to explore new cinematic frontiers around the world, combining traditional techniques and digital innovations to tell intuitive stories.
